Information at first sight

TeamCal Neo allows to quickly get a view on absences and team availablity.

Month Calendar

The month calendar shows the events and absences of the selected month. Each cell is a day, each icon and color represents an absence or event type.

You can adjust the sort order of the users or group them by group membership.

Year Calendar

The year calendar shows the events and absences of a single user throughout the selected year.

This is a very convenient way for example to get an overview of your yearly vacation.

Statistics

Several statistics pages provide diagrams of taken or remaining absence types or show the accumulated presence of team members.

The remainder statistics shows the remainders of all absence types that have a limited allowance.

Copy Files

Download the ZIP file, unzip the files and copy them to your web server.

Create Database

Create the database you want to use with TeamCal Neo.

Go to URL

Navigate to the URL of your installation and follow the instructions on the screen.

Absence Types

The administrator can create and configure absence or event types.

Assign a one-letter code, icon and colors for easy identification.
Define thresholds and allowance per absence type.
Restrict absence type to certain groups.

Daynotes

You can define notes for each day of the calendar providing more details about holidays, events, anniversaries and such. But also personal daynotes are available. A daynote is indicated by a little marker in the according cell. Moving the mouse over that cell will reveal the note in form of a tool-tip.

Declination Management

Based on thresholds of a maximum absence percentage per group the Declination Management provides approval capabilities to group managers.

Define and absence threshold for all or per group.
Define a date before which no absences can be entered anymore.
Define up to three periods within which no absences can be entered..

Groups and Roles

Each user can be assigned to a group. The groups can be defined by the administrator. A user can be a simple member of a group or can be the manager of that group granting him certain additional rights. Roles can be used to grant different permissions in TeamCal Neo.

Permission Schemes

Who can do what in TeamCal Neo is defined by permission schemes. You decide what permissions you want for each role you have configured. Each permission combination can be saved as a permission scheme so you can quickly switch between them.

Dark Mode

With Bootstrap's color mode switcher you can quickly toggle between light mode an dark mode.

Sidebar Menu

You can switch TeamCal Neo to a sidebar menu layout. This is especially useful for desktop screens.
